My account is paid up past that date. Will I get a refund?
Yes, of course. Please contact us in January 2012. Refunds will be sent via PayPal.
What if my account is up for renewal before then?
We will continue to bill our clients monthly until the shutdown.
What about RPG-Works zero accounts?
Zero accounts 0-6 months old will receive a full refund. Zero accounts 6-12 months old will receive a 50% refund.
We recommend keeping MU* hosting separate from other services (web, email, etc).
RPG-Works.Net spent its more recent years on Rackspace Cloud Servers. It is possible to host a MU* on the smallest cloud server that Rackspace offers. This requires some technical skill in keeping the server up to date. This also offers the advantage of reserved resource -- ie, other games on the server can't cause lag on yours.
There are many good shared hosting providers out there, such as WebFaction.

What happens to my domain name?
If we hold your domain name, you must transfer it away -- to your new web host, or to a new registrar. Domains that are not transfered away will expire.
